Link2Care is a social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to advancing maternal healthcare in Kenya. We provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality ultrasound and point-of-care testing (POCT) services to underserved communities, ensuring that no mother is left behind.

We currently collaborate with 30+ health facilities across Nairobi, reaching over 500 expectant mothers in low-income communities with essential antenatal care services and health education. By combining innovation with compassion, we aim to close the maternal health gap and build healthier futures for mothers and their babies.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Community Mobilization Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital to expanding our reach and impact in local communities by driving awareness, supporting health education, and coordinating outreach and diagnostic services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with local leaders, health facilities, and community networks to raise awareness of Link2Care’s maternal health services and initiatives.
  • Organize and implement outreach activities and community engagement events to boost participation in ultrasound and ANC services.
  • Identify new health facilities and areas for outreach based on emerging community
  • Coordinate with Community Health Promoters (CHPs) to support mobilization and smooth delivery of field activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute ultrasound services, diagnostics, and health education sessions in accordance with the activity calendar.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers and CHPs to ensure effective service delivery at partner health
  • Carry out client satisfaction surveys, document feedback, and support service improvement efforts.Follow up on client referrals and assist in ensuring appropriate health management.
  • Collect, analyze, and report community-based data from outreach activities, health sessions, and partner feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or degree in Public Health, Community Health, Health Promotion, or related
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community mobilization or health outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and
  • Experience working with CHPs, community leaders, and healthcare
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly to field
