Interior Designer

Woodshack Ventures is a fast-growing home and office furniture company committed to delivering functional, stylish, and high-quality furniture solutions. We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to establish and lead our Interior Design Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing inspiring residential and commercial spaces, developing custom furniture concepts, and enhancing the customer experience through innovative showroom and interior design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, styling, and continuous improvement of the Woodshack Ventures showroom to create an exceptional customer experience.
• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects using the company's furniture collections.
• Design custom furniture solutions that meet client needs while aligning with market trends and manufacturing capabilities.
• Produce high-quality 3D visualizations, photorealistic renders, walkthroughs, and presentation videos for client proposals and marketing campaigns.
• Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, furniture specifications, and design presentations.
• Conduct client consultations, site visits, measurements, and project presentations.
• Collaborate closely with the sales, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Stay informed on emerging trends in interior design, furniture, materials, finishes, colour schemes, and décor.
• Support business development by providing professional design advice and contributing to customer acquisition and retention.
• Ensure all projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in interior design, preferably within the furniture or interiors industry.
• Proven experience designing residential and office spaces.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interior design projects and furniture layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar design software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an added advantage.
• Experience creating photorealistic renders and animated walkthroughs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, finishes, ergonomics, and space planning.
