Link2Care is a social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to advancing maternal healthcare in Kenya. We provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality ultrasound and point-of-care testing (POCT) services to underserved communities, ensuring that no mother is left behind.
We currently collaborate with 30+ health facilities across Nairobi, reaching over 500 expectant mothers in low-income communities with essential antenatal care services and health education. By combining innovation with compassion, we aim to close the maternal health gap and build healthier futures for mothers and their babies.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to support our field operations by transporting staff, medical supplies, and equipment for various activities, including community health outreaches, clinic visits, training events, and administrative errands. The ideal candidate is dependable, understands vehicle maintenance, and is committed to upholding safety standards while representing the organization professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive staff and volunteers to outreach activities, clinics, trainings, and partner sites across Nairobi and other regions as required.
- Safely transport medical supplies, data collection tools, and IT equipment for field activities and mobile health operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of assigned vehicle(s).
- Ensure the vehicle logbook is up-to-date, including trip records, mileage, fuel, and maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and coordinate timely servicing and
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment or medical materials when
- Ensure adherence to road safety regulations and organizational transport
- Provide logistical support during community events or field-based research and
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle damage promptly to the
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Kenyan Driving License Class B, C, E (must be accident-free for the last 2 years).
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, including long-distance and rural
- Good understanding of vehicle mechanics and basic
- Excellent knowledge of Kenyan roads, routes, and traffic regulations within Nairobi
- Experience working with health programs, or mobile clinics is an
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to
