Trailer Driver

We are seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and reliable Trailer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should be willing to work in Mlolongo and demonstrate strong driving skills, accountability, efficiency, and compliance with road safety regulations and Company transport procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean at all times before loading.
2. Ensure sufficient fuel is available for the designated journey.
3. Ensure the vehicle is well maintained, roadworthy, and equipped with all required safety equipment.
4. Ensure vehicles are parked in designated parking areas in an orderly manner.
5. Coordinate with loaders to ensure efficient and careful loading and off-loading at both Company and customer premises.
6. Verify the quantity and condition of goods being loaded and sign off loading documents accordingly.
7. Report any customer concerns, delivery discrepancies, or operational issues to the Sales Office promptly.
8. Report any returned goods to the Sales Office promptly for appropriate action.
9. Ensure all rules and regulations are followed regarding the health and safety policy.
10. Ensure delivery vehicles are properly sealed and verified by the responsible security personnel before dispatch.
11. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, transport regulations, and Company policies.
12. Maintain professionalism and uphold the Company’s standards when interacting with customers and colleagues.
13. Participate in and coordinate the safe and efficient loading and off-loading of goods onto and from the trailer at both Company and customer premises.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professionalism.
• Valid driving license (NTSA Endorsement of Heavy/Articulated Truck Class is a MUST).
• Previous experience operating trailers and good knowledge of road networks.
• Reference from previous employment.
• Minimum KCSE qualification or equivalent.
• Must be available to join immediately.
• Good understanding of vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks.
• Clean driving record with adherence to road safety regulations.
