Bulkstream Logistics has Five (5) vacant positions for: Truck Drivers under the Transport Department
The Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of truck/trailer as per the work plan to realize set performance target.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and operate safely the assigned truck/trailer.
- Transfer cargo from one point to another as directed.
- Adhere to terminal, port and national traffic rules and regulations
- Promptly update work ticket entries and ensure it is always up to date.
- Check fuel, water level in the tanks and arrange for refill as required.
- Check the physical and general condition of truck/lorry and ensure cleanliness.
- Carry out pre-shift vehicle inspection.
- Transfer trailers from the terminal to the yard and vice versa.
- Communicate immediately of any breakdown or problems to Transport Planner and Transport & Warehouse manager.
- Always adheres to safe working and housekeeping procedures.
- Utilizes equipment optimally to achieve set targets.
- Ensure staff and safety regulations, tariffs, circulars, and notices issued from time to time are complied with.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned through the transport supervisor in charge from time to time.
- Report any Accidents and incidents that may happen during operations
REQUREMENTS
- At least K.C.S.E
- Valid driving license class ”B”
- Relevant Class “CE” special type endorsement (Articulated Vehicle)

- Meet set cargo dispatch targets
- Compliance with vehicle operation regulations.
- Efficient and accident-free vehicle operation.
- Timely and efficient response to operational incidents and accidents.
- Timely efficient completion of work.
