Beauty Technician

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and well-presented Beauty Technician to join an upmarket barbershop located along Kiambu Road. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering high-quality beauty and spa services to a discerning clientele. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional beauty and spa services, including facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and basic skin treatments.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and workstation organization at all times.

• Advise clients on suitable beauty treatments, products, and aftercare practices.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both repeat and walk-in clients.

• Upsell beauty and spa services in line with individual client needs and preferences.

• Manage client bookings and maintain accurate service records where required.

• Work collaboratively with barbers and front desk staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Uphold the brand image, professionalism, and service standards of an upmarket barbershop.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience as a Beauty Technician.

• Prior experience working in an upmarket barbershop, salon, or spa is mandatory.

• Certification or formal training in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology from a recognized institution.

• Strong knowledge of beauty treatments, tools, products, and industry best practices.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

• Well-groomed and professional personal appearance.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Residence along Kiambu Road or nearby areas will be an added advantage.
