Female Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable female caregiver to provide personal care and support for an elderly or disabled client in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caregiving, patience, and the ability to attend to the daily needs and well-being of the client with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
• Accompany the client to medical appointments, errands, or outdoor activities
• Monitor changes in behavior, health, or needs and report to the family or healthcare provider
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Female, aged 25 years and above (preferred)
• Proven experience as a caregiver, nurse aide, or similar role
• Certificate in caregiving, nursing, or a related field is an added advantage
• Basic understanding of elderly or disability care needs
• Ability to handle physical demands (lifting, assisting mobility)
• Fluent in English or Swahili; both is a plus
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
• First aid and CPR certification is an advantage
