Pharmacist

Jumuia Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medication, providing guidance on proper medication use, and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications and ensure correct dosage, labeling, and storage.
• Provide counseling to patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor and manage medication inventory, ensuring the availability of stock and safe storage conditions.
• Assist in the management of pharmacy operations, including maintaining records of prescriptions and sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including legal requirements for pharmacy practice.
• Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements and medication guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• A valid Pharmacist license from the relevant regulatory authority.
• Strong knowledge of medications, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
