Human Resource Assistant
Description
We are seeking an organized and dedicated HR Assistant to join our team and support the smooth functioning of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, payroll processing, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
- Conduct initial screenings and schedule interviews with candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation and conducting orientations.
Employee Records Management
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Track employee attendance, leaves, and performance records.
Payroll Processing
- Support the payroll process by gathering and verifying employee data.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
HR Administration
- Respond to employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.
- Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and workshops.
Compliance and Policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
General Administrative Support
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR support role.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
