Human Resource Assistant
Description
The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department in executing various HR functions, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role is critical in maintaining employee records, managing HR processes, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Employee Records Management
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage documentation related to employment contracts, benefits, and personal information.
Attendance and Payroll Management
- Monitor attendance records, manage leave applications, and prepare payroll inputs for processing.
Performance Management
- Provide support in the implementation and monitoring of performance management processes.
Employee Grievances
- Handle employee grievances and ensure timely and effective resolution in line with company policies.
Policy Implementation
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Training and Development
- Coordinate and schedule training and development programs for employees to enhance skills and performance.
HR Reporting and Audits
- Prepare HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other metrics.
- Provide support during internal and external HR audits.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance regulations within the organization.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
