Tha Nickolee Hotel is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Intern to join our dynamic HR team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of HR operations while learning best practices in hospitality human resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
- Support the onboarding and orientation process for new employees
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
- Help organize and file HR documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
- Assist in the planning and coordination of staff welfare activities and training programs
- Respond to basic HR queries and provide administrative support as needed
- Ensure HR processes align with Kenyan labour laws and internal hotel policies
- Perform general office and administrative tasks to support the HR department’s daily functions
Who We’re Looking For:
- Current students or recent graduates in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- A positive attitude with eagerness to learn and contribute
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A reliable team player with a professional and approachable demeanor
