Accountant

Responsibilities
As an Accountant at Mira Heights Hotel, your role will include:

• Generating accurate and timely financial reports and statements
• Handling all accounting activities, including bookkeeping and data entry
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
• Performing regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Supporting the budgeting and financial forecasting processes
• Monitoring hotel revenues, expenditures, and overall financial performance
• Assisting with audits and preparing necessary financial documentation

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA(K) qualification (Certified Public Accountant – Kenya)
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hotel accounting role
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
