Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the Finance Department in ensuring smooth and secure cash operations within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process payments from guests for accommodation, food, beverages, and other hotel services.
• Issue accurate receipts and ensure correct posting of all transactions into the system.
• Reconcile cash, card, and mobile money transactions at the end of each shift.
• Prepare daily cash summaries and submit reports to the Finance Department.
• Assist with end-of-day balancing and banking procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of transaction records.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide courteous assistance in resolving billing issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized cashiering station and adhere to company cash handling policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a cashier, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in POS systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
