Command Center Agents
Description
We are looking for proactive and skilled Command Center Agents to oversee and manage the operations of drivers and SDOS (Supervisors on Duty) remotely. This role is critical in ensuring smooth transportation and logistics operations by monitoring truck movements, ensuring timely turnaround at warehouses and delivery points, and resolving issues in collaboration with relevant departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-pressure situations, possess technical expertise, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Monitoring and Management:
- Oversee and track truck movements in real-time using GPS tracking and monitoring systems.
- Ensure timely field and warehouse turnaround times for all trucks.
- Monitor driver and SDOS activities to ensure adherence to schedules and operational standards.
Incident and Crisis Management:
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, assessing and resolving issues effectively.
- Escalate critical incidents to the appropriate teams or departments when necessary.
- Implement and follow security protocols during crises to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the transport and logistics department to address and resolve operational issues.
- Support drivers in addressing queries or needs from other departments, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all operational updates and coordination.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of truck movements, incidents, and resolution activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, turnaround times, and incident trends.
- Suggest process improvements based on data insights and incident reviews.
Key Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience in crisis or incident management, with a track record of handling emergency situations effectively.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., GPS tracking, CCTV).
- Familiarity with incident management platforms and security protocols.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to deliver clear instructions during emergencies and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities under pressure, with a focus on resolving incidents swiftly.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
Flexibility:
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
