Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hardware Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage Their hardware operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware products, networks, and systems, along with proven leadership skills to supervise teams and ensure efficient operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing hardware setups, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of all hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Management:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware systems, including servers, computers, networking devices, and peripherals.
Ensure the proper functioning of all hardware equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues promptly.
Team Supervision:
Lead and supervise a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills and performance.
Inventory and Procurement:
Manage hardware inventory, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
Evaluate and recommend hardware products and solutions to meet organizational needs.
Network Management:
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
Implement network security measures to protect hardware systems from potential threats.
Customer Support:
Address customer inquiries and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on hardware performance, maintenance activities, and team productivity.
Maintain detailed documentation of hardware setups, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be an Indian Male.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a hardware setup.
- Strong understanding of hardware products, systems, and networks.
- Experience working in Kenya or neighboring countries is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols.
