Junior Data Scientist

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic data team. If you’re passionate about turning data into meaningful insights and have a knack for problem-solving using statistical models and data-driven approaches, we want to hear from you.

This role is perfect for someone with over two years of experience in data analysis and a solid foundation in data science. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and support strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business outcomes.

• Build and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms.

• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to present findings clearly and effectively.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand problems and propose data-driven solutions.

• Clean, transform, and organize raw data into usable formats for analysis.

• Assist in the design and implementation of predictive analytics models.

• Stay updated on the latest data science tools, trends, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data analysis or data science role.

• Proficient in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.

• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data mining techniques.

• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib/Seaborn).

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).

• Understanding of business intelligence practices and data warehousing concepts.
