Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper care of guest linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel laundry items. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines to clean hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Sort, fold, and store cleaned laundry according to established procedures.
• Inspect laundry items for damage or stains and report issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laundry equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic laundry area at all times.
• Keep track of laundry inventory and assist in stocktaking.
• Assist with linen distribution across departments when necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and hygiene standards in all laundry operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or related field is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in laundry services within a hotel or similar environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, equipment, and fabric care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
