Relationship Officers

We are seeking experienced and results-driven Relationship Officers to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in the microfinance sector, proven leadership experience, and a passion for client relationship management. This role involves overseeing lending operations, managing a team, and ensuring that branch targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of loan officers and relationship staff to drive lending operations and achieve branch targets.
• Maintain and grow a high-quality loan portfolio by conducting client assessments, monitoring repayments, and ensuring compliance with lending policies.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to improve performance and professional growth.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, portfolio status, and branch achievements.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and community engagement to support the institution's strategic objectives.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the microfinance sector, with a deep understanding of lending operations and client relationship management.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Team Leader, Supervisor, or Branch Coordinator), preferably within a financial institution.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding branch or departmental targets.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• A Diploma or Degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
