Transport Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transport Manager to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence within our transport division.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations, including fleet scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance coordination.
• Optimize vehicle utilization, route planning, and fuel efficiency to maximize operational performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure full compliance with all transport regulations, safety standards, and internal company policies.
• Manage, train, and evaluate drivers to ensure high performance, safety, and professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to meet and exceed delivery timelines and customer expectations.
• Monitor and control transport budgets, manage third-party service providers, and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Maintain and enhance transport reporting systems, providing accurate and timely operational data to management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transport management or fleet operations within a busy logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and transport optimization tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive continuous operational improvements.
