We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Officer to join our growing team in Embu. If you’re passionate about primary healthcare and want to be part of a professional team that is redefining patient care, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality clinical care to patients in line with established protocols.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses.
- Prescribe medication and advise on preventive health practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Refer patients to specialists and higher-level facilities when necessary.
- Participate in health promotion and community outreach programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Certificate of Registration and a valid practice license from the Clinical Officers' Council.
- Valid Professional Indemnity Cover.
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police Service.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
