We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Nurse will play a critical role in supporting antenatal care (ANC) services, offering direct patient care, health education, and assisting in the coordination of mobile outreach and clinic-based activities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, community-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality maternal health services in underserved settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality nursing care, including patient triage, vital sign monitoring, and basic treatment support.
- Assist with the delivery of point-of-care diagnostics and ensure accurate recording of patient
- Offer patient education on maternal health, disease prevention, and treatment
- Support mobile outreach efforts by preparing and managing nursing supplies and client
- Work closely with laboratory technicians, sonographers, and clinicians for coordinated care
- Ensure infection prevention and control standards are upheld during all nursing
- Maintain accurate records, patient documentation, and ensure proper follow-up for referred
- Contribute to quality improvement activities and community engagement
- Report any adverse events, medical incidents, or client concerns to the supervisor promptly
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized
- Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in community health or maternal
- Strong skills in patient communication, documentation, and care
- Experience in low-resource settings or mobile clinic
- Comfortable using basic digital tools for patient records and
- Flexible, reliable, and able to travel regularly for field
