Nurse

Our client, a reputable healthcare provider in Kitengela, is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a maternity ward and demonstrate knowledge of SafeCare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients, especially in the maternity unit
• Monitor patient health and record medical information accurately
• Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during treatment and delivery procedures
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects or reactions
• Educate patients and their families on health care, prenatal and postnatal care
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and SafeCare compliance across all patient areas
• Uphold high standards of patient care and safety at all times

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare facility, with a strong background in maternity ward care
• Knowledge and experience in SafeCare standards is required
• Must be registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
