Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Kitengela or Athi River. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the recovery and comfort of patients in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
• Perform nursing assessments and develop individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
• Monitor patients’ progress and respond to any changes in condition
• Support doctors during medical procedures and examinations
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and post-treatment care
• Uphold infection prevention and control standards
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and hospital policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Must be registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (post-licensure preferred)
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS is an added advantage
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, maternity, or emergency care is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in nursing documentation and basic computer skills
