Our client is a fast-growing fintech company in Kenya, transforming financial services through innovative technology solutions. With rapid expansion and a commitment to financial inclusion, they are looking to strengthen their team with a dynamic Product Trainer who can bridge the gap between complex fintech products and users.

Job Summary:
As a Product Trainer, you will play a critical role in equipping internal teams, partners, and end-users with the knowledge and skills to effectively use our client’s products and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify technical information into engaging and easy-to-understand content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver product training programs for employees, partners, and clients across various channels (in-person, virtual, video, and e-learning).
  • Work closely with product, sales, customer support, and marketing teams to understand new features, enhancements, and product updates.
  • Translate technical product features into practical training content for non-technical audiences.
  • Create training materials, manuals, guides, FAQs, and multimedia content tailored to various audiences.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees and partners to ensure strong product knowledge.
  • Gather feedback from training sessions and continuously improve the delivery and relevance of training content.
  • Stay current on fintech trends and integrate relevant market insights into training programs.
  • Track training participation and measure effectiveness through assessments and feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product training, customer education, or a similar role, preferably in a fintech or technology-driven company.
  • Strong understanding of the fintech landscape in Kenya, including digital lending, payments, and mobile banking.
  • Proven ability to simplify technical or complex topics into digestible and engaging content.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with training tools, LMS platforms, and e-learning development is a plus.
