Jirani Smart is expanding its footprint and seeking 20 energetic and self-driven Business Development Officers to join our growing team in Kakamega. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, promoting our services, and building strong relationships within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region
- Promote and market company products and services to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Conduct field visits and presentations to drive customer engagement
- Provide regular reports on market trends, customer feedback, and business development progress
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or any other business-related field
- KCSE Mean Grade of C (Plain) with at least a C in Mathematics
- Prior experience in sales and marketing is an added advantage
- Motorbike riding skills are also an added advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Kakamega region will be an added advantage
