Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Retail Sales Manager to oversee our network of retail outlets across Nairobi and Mombasa. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining brand standards across all locations. This role requires frequent travel between the two cities to support store teams and monitor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and sales performance of all retail outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for each location.

• Recruit, train, and supervise store managers and retail staff across all outlets.

• Conduct regular store visits to ensure visual merchandising standards, customer service excellence, and inventory management are upheld.

• Monitor stock levels, analyze sales data, and coordinate with the supply chain team to minimize stock-outs and overstocking.

• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management.

• Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures at all outlets.

What We Are Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a multi-outlet or regional supervisory role.

• Experience in retail and FMCG is a strong advantage.

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets across multiple locations.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel frequently between Nairobi and Mombasa.

• Must be based in Nairobi.
