Sales Attendant – Mombasa

Our client, a leading company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Attendant to join their dynamic team in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to meet targets and build strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell products to customers in assigned outlets or designated sales areas
• Maintain excellent product knowledge to effectively explain product features and benefits to customers
• Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are well-stocked and properly arranged
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Report customer feedback, competitor activities, and sales trends to the supervisor
• Meet daily and monthly sales targets and objectives
• Assist in stock-taking and inventory control
• Support in general store operations and customer service duties

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in FMCG
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
• Knowledge of sales and inventory management processes
• Residence in Mombasa or nearby areas is an added advantage
• Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
