Our client, a leading company in the FMCG sector, is urgently seeking to hire a proactive and persuasive Sales Representative to support their retail outlet operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging walk-in customers, promoting the company’s products, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to walk-in clients at the outlet and promote products effectively.
- Provide detailed product information to customers to influence purchase decisions.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to build customer trust and confidence.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase basket size.
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide solutions promptly.
- Keep records of sales, track inventory, and ensure product displays are attractive and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and customer service, preferably in FMCG or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, persuasive, and able to engage customers easily.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer behavior.
- Target-driven with a passion for achieving results.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
