Team Leaders – Coast Region

Job Summary:

Momentum Credit is seeking two highly motivated and results-driven Team Leaders to join our growing team in Mombasa and Kilifi. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of loan officers, driving team performance, and ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of loan officers in the assigned region.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets are met.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor loan processing, disbursement, and recovery to ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Conduct field visits and support loan officers in customer engagements and recovery efforts.
• Compile and submit accurate and timely performance reports to the Branch Manager or Regional Head.
• Resolve escalated customer queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Drive team motivation, discipline, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a leadership role within Microfinance or Digital Lending.
• Proven track record in team management and achieving performance targets.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, lending procedures, and loan recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital loan management systems is an added advantage.
