Assistant Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Data Analyst to join the African Guarantee Fund. In this role, you will support data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making and drive organisational impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organise data from various sources.

• Assist in analysing data and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Support the team in generating insights and visualisations from data.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of data systems and processes.

• Respond to data-related queries and provide support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in data analysis or a similar role.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

• Good communication and reporting skills.
