Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Dispatch Operations: Oversee the day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of orders to customers.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the dispatch team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels, coordinate the picking of products, and ensure orders are accurately packed and dispatched.
- Order Coordination: Liaise with the sales team to ensure that customer orders are prioritized and dispatched in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate dispatch records, generate daily reports, and track deliveries. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Customer Interaction: Address customer concerns related to deliveries and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the dispatch area to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hardware or logistics environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in order processing and dispatch.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
