Alpha Kenya is a leading service provider dedicated to excellence in procurement, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a motivated Procurement Intern to join our team in Mombasa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and management.
- Help maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
- Participate in price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and market surveys.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with stock management and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement department as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Eager to learn, proactive, and flexible.
