Description
Nairobi Central Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock replenishment, conducting audits, and optimizing warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and shipments.
- Coordinate stock replenishment with the Purchase/Procurement Manager.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse space efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
- Utilize inventory tracking systems (Tally ERP) to investigate stock discrepancies.
- Ensure all stock carders record every inbound and outbound stock movement.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and dispatch teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Warehousing & Inventory, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP Tally/Dynamics).
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and Docs.
