Stores Clerk – Graduate Trainee

Description

Responsible for clerical duties including receipts, picking inventory from shelves, issues, purchase request processing, all accomplished within acceptable timelines and participation in stock counts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and uploading delivery documents into the system.
  • Issuing items under storage.
  •  Updating bin cards and system records.
  • Tagging and arranging items in respective locations.
  •  Receiving and issuing diesel ,HFO and lubricants.
  • Preparing primary reports, inventory data analysis, and reporting.
  • Filing and retrieving documentation.
  • Participating in inventory control and stocktaking.
  • Complying with Staff Regulations, Health, Safety and Environment Policy, memos, circulars, and notices.           

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in relevant field, 
  • A certificate in Stores or Inventory Management from a recognized institution an added advantage
  • Computer literate, proficiency in Excel
  • Systems knowledge of an ERP an added advantage
