Description

Our client, a medical garment manufacturing company, wishes to recruit an Assistant General Manager. The manager will be responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the company's overall operations, with a particular focus on driving revenue and profitability growth while ensuring efficient operations and delivery of high-quality productions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a three-year strategy that demonstrates the company's financial growth and is aligned with the group's overall growth projections.
  • Develop and implement budgets to support the strategic plan.
  • Develop and implement a plan for supply chain and distribution.
  • Provide the Board and Executive Management with timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends of the company.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the leadership team, and ensure the continued coaching and development for a professional and efficient organization.
  • Manage manufacturing facility and ensure that production is timely cost-effective and meets customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
  • Achieve optimum labor and minimum overhead and raw material costs.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on operating costs within the factory.
  • Ensures compliance with all quality and manufacturing standards as prescribed by the customer.
  • Develop and establish partnerships and new markets to drive sales volumes.
  • Builds company image by collaborating with industry stakeholders, and government bodies to maintain market leadership.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities for the brand.
  • Increase market share of products within the market’s products are sold.
  • Develop team spirit within departments to support each other in achieving sub-goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all plant personnel are in alignment with client requirements.

Requirement & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or University Graduate (Engineer, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or Scientific Studies). Most desirable are post-graduate studies in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Previous working experience in a similar position for at least 5 years
  • HSK 5and above
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English & Mandarin
  • An action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
