Unit Manager
Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Dynamic Unit Manager to oversee and manage a team of health agents within the agency network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing relationships, and delivering exceptional results while promoting the values and goals of Jubilee Insurance.
As a Dynamic Unit Manager, you will play a key role in leading the agency to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring that agents are well-equipped to deliver excellent service to clients. You will also foster a positive work environment and build strong, long-lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their targets and maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Sales & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and expand market share in the health insurance sector.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance the agency's market presence.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the performance of agents, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Training & Development: Ensure agents are well-trained and up-to-date on product offerings, industry regulations, and sales techniques to better serve clients.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as underwriting, claims, and customer service to deliver seamless services to clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A Business-related Degree/Diploma or its equivalent.
- Insurance Qualification: Insurance Professional Qualification such as a Diploma in Insurance or COP.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in health agency management or a similar leadership role in the insurance industry.
- Licensing: Possession of a valid Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) license.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and related software packages.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to achieve set goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
