Shared Value Hub, supported by Shared Value Foundation, is dedicated to reducing emissions, improving livelihoods, and protecting natural resources by supporting climate action through entrepreneurial initiatives. The hub provides innovators with tools and resources to design sustainable business models, gain traction, and mobilize capital for impactful change.
The Hub Manager will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of our acceleration program across Africa. This role demands an entrepreneurial, results-driven, and highly motivated individual with exceptional skills in fundraising, partnership development, report writing, and project management. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, drive the success of participating startups, and build strategic partnerships with mentors, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management & Coordination:
- Lead and manage the Shared Value Hub program’s daily operations, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to guide the program’s growth and success.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and implement continuous improvements to drive impact.
2.Fundraising & Partnership Development:
- Design and implement a robust fundraising strategy to secure capital and resources for the Hub and its initiative
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic partnerships with investors, corporate sponsors, government agencies, and development organizations across Africa.
- Drive business development initiatives to create new opportunities and expand the Hub’s network.
3.Project Management & Report Writing:
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Prepare detailed, high-quality reports and presentations to communicate progress, impact, and opportunities to stakeholders, funders, and senior management.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and program adjustments.
4.Ecosystem Engagement & Event Coordination:
- Organize and coordinate regular events, meet-ups, workshops, and networking sessions to continuously engage the African climate ecosystem.
- Act as the primary ambassador for the Hub, representing the program at regional conferences, industry forums, and other high-profile events.
- Foster a vibrant community by building and nurturing relationships with startups, mentors, and ecosystem partners.
5.Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Shared Value Foundation to align the accelerator’s vision with broader sustainability goals.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Drive the integration of shared value funds management into the accelerator, ensuring that financial, environmental, and social impact targets are met.
