As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team and support Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement initiatives.

Job Purpose:
The Human Resource Officer will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager in implementing performance management frameworks, learning and development programs, and employee engagement activities. This role ensures smooth HR operations, policy implementation, and contributes to creating a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions with Line Managers.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance management frameworks and training programs.
  • Maintain training calendars and track the impact of training initiatives on employee performance.
  • Compile and analyze reports on performance trends, engagement activities, and training outcomes.
  • Ensure smooth HR operations, including policy implementation and compliance.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide support across other HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to address employee concerns and improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR Certification (CHRP-K, SPHRI) and active membership with IHRM.
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, with a focus on Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
