Junior Accounts Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Manage invoice postings and cash-up reconciliations. 
• Help in processing and submitting tax and statutory payments. 
• Supporting audits, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Accurately review reconciliations of bank transactions, petty cash and credit card payments.
• Perform monthly and end-month random spot checks.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Verify documentation for new supplier onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with Financial reporting standards.
• Work closely with the finance team in the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
• Extract and analyze the variance analysis between the job budget/quotation and actual job cost from the accounting system. 
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics & Statistics ,Banking , Finance or related courses.
• 1-2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant in a 4 or 5-star Hotel. 
• CPA Level 2 is an added advantage 
• Experience with Micros, Fidelio PMS.
