Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
• Support financial audits and ensure documentation is properly maintained
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor and reconcile company accounts, including bank, receivables, and payables
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, etc.)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and service providers when necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting option preferred)
• CPA-K certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the transport or travel sector
• Must be 25 years or older
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism
• Self-driven, fast learner, and a strong team player
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines
