Description
The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, launches and events, ensuring activities are well planned, properly briefed and delivered on time. The role will work closely with internal teams, agencies and suppliers to ensure marketing activities are aligned with approved objectives, budgets and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Agency Coordination
- Prepare clear marketing briefs covering objectives, deliverables, timelines and approvals.
- Coordinate agencies, suppliers and internal teams to deliver campaign materials on schedule.
- Track campaign progress, consolidate feedback and flag delays or outstanding approvals.
Marketing Planning
- Maintain the marketing calendar for campaigns, promotions, launches and events.
- Coordinate timelines across departments and communicate changes to relevant teams.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and ensure sufficient time for production and approvals.
Events & Activations
- Coordinate marketing events, activations and promotional activities.
- Support planning and execution of brand activations and launches.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of events.
Marketing Operations & Reporting
- Maintain campaign trackers, marketing assets, supplier records and approval documentation.
- Coordinate quotations, purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices with Finance and Procurement.
- Track marketing budgets and campaign-related expenditure.
- Consolidate campaign results and prepare basic marketing performance reports.
- Recommend practical improvements to marketing processes and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in marketing coordination, marketing operations, campaigns, events or communications.
- Agency experience is preferred, with practical experience working with external marketing partners.
- Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and approvals simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of budget tracking and basic marketing performance reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience in events or brand activations is an advantage.
- Experience in retail, beauty, FMCG or another consumer-facing sector is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
