Credit Controller
Description
Healthpact Hospital is seeking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to serve as the Head of Revenue Cycle Management. This role is central to the hospital’s financial performance, overseeing billing, claims processing, debt collection, and revenue integrity across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all patient billing and receipting processes across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency
- Oversee SHA (Social Health Authority), private insurance, and corporate claims: verification, submission, tracking, reconciliation, and follow-up.
- Manage aged debts and ensure structured recovery of outstanding
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly aged debt and revenue collection
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of claims documentation and support documents to minimize claim rejections or delays.
- Track and reconcile daily revenue collections against system data and actual bank/cash
- Identify, report, and help mitigate revenue leakages across all hospital billing
- Coordinate with clinical, records, and front office teams to ensure correct patient categorization and billing setup.
- Provide leadership to the credit and billing team: assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training.
- Maintain updated insurer and corporate client contracts, ensuring full compliance with agreed billing terms.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a business-related course such as:
- Business Administration
- Bachelor of Commerce (Finance or Accounting)
- Healthcare Management
- OR a Diploma in Clinical Medicine with at least 3 years’ experience in hospital claims, billing, or credit control.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in billing, claims processing, or revenue cycle functions within a busy hospital.
- Practical knowledge of SHA and private insurance claims workflows, coding, and billing
- Proficiency in hospital information systems and Microsoft
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and keen attention to
