Kapa Oil Limited is looking to recruit Area Sales Manager to join their team.
KEY OUTPUTS / TASKS
- Develop and implement sales strategies, forecasts, and performance targets.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in field sales preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field sales representatives to achieve performance goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key customers and sub-distributors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements in line with company policies.
- Proven experience managing field teams, distributor networks, and driving regional sales growth.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues related to logistics, service, and accounting. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and customer accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership,
- communication, and analytical skills.
- Increase product penetration through strategic market coverage and route planning.
- Support product launches, in-store positioning, and promotional execution.
RELATIONSHIPS & ROLES:
- Enforce credit control policies and monitor dealer account reconciliations.
- Internal/External Co-operation:
- Ability to liaise and communicate with
- Control sales return ratios and ensure financial discipline across accounts.
- Distributors and customers.
- Coordinate closely with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ability to develop and implement sales plans, targets, and forecasts.
- Generate and analyse sales reports for internal stakeholders.
- Forecasting and territory/customer-level target setting.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes, pricing policies, and operational standards.
- Work with HR to implement performance incentives and corrective measures when needed.
