Commercial Manager
Description
The Commercial Manager at Royal Mabati Ltd will oversee all commercial operations, driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring market competitiveness. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead sales, marketing, and customer relationship initiatives while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform pricing, promotions, and product positioning strategies.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving complaints, and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Marketing and Brand Management:
- Oversee marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities to boost brand visibility and sales.
- Develop marketing materials and strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition of Royal Mabati products.
- Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with sales goals and company vision.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for sales and marketing activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales revenues, profit margins, and cost management.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on commercial performance and opportunities.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor the sales and marketing teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and training.
- Recruit and onboard talented professionals to strengthen the commercial department.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline sales and marketing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all commercial activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- At least 7 years of experience in a commercial or sales leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing or building materials industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the roofing or construction materials market is an advantage.
