Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Software Engineer to drive technical excellence, mentor engineering teams, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure platforms. You will work closely with Product Owners and Technical Leads to transform technical design specifications into deliverable solutions while ensuring engineering best practices are consistently applied.

How You Will Contribute:

• Collaborate with Product Owners & Technical Leads to translate technical designs into actionable tasks.
• Define learning paths, identify training needs, and address skills gaps within the engineering team.
• Provide hands-on mentorship and foster alignment across the engineering function.
• Actively contribute to the codebase and maintain high coding standards.
• Own technical specifications, test plans, and documentation.
• Track and address technical debt throughout the delivery life-cycle.
• Assist in defining minimum marketable features (MMFs) and minimum viable releases (MVRs).
• Develop a deep understanding of supported platforms, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Source and implement innovative solutions.
• Define and uphold engineering standards, including peer reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices.
• Establish system SLAs, metrics, and monitoring frameworks.
• Conduct technical spikes and experimentation to validate ideas.
• Support and adhere to the software development process.
• Promote team visibility, recognition, and performance excellence.

Key Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Golang, or similar languages.
• Proven track record with highly available platforms and solution design.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud technologies.
• Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and client-side technologies.
• Strong background in test-driven development and long-term code maintenance.
