Farm Manager

Rewaza Farms is seeking an experienced and proactive Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for our horticultural production. The ideal candidate will lead a team of farm workers, ensure efficient crop production, and uphold the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise field activities for a variety of horticultural crops.
• Lead, manage, and train a team of 10+ farm workers to optimize productivity while minimizing costs.
• Monitor and manage input usage, labour costs, and crop yields to maintain accurate farm records.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards. Familiarity with Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) is an added advantage.
• Work closely with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and market alignment.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports directly to the farm owner.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a large-scale horticultural farm.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-value crops.
• Experience with drip irrigation systems is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing labour teams.
• Excellent skills in record-keeping, budgeting, and planning.
• Comfortable using digital tools and farm management technologies.
