Housekeeper – Nakuru

Position Summary

We are looking for a well-trained and dependable Housekeeper (Male Preferred) who takes pride in maintaining tidy and hygienic environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas
• Replace linens, towels, and other room amenities as required
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the hotel
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Handle guest requests politely and promptly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages
• Follow established health and safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housekeeping (preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting)
• Formal training or education in housekeeping or a related field is an added advantage
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
• Must be based in Nakuru or surrounding areas
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and time-management skills
