Plant Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all production and administrative activities at our plant. The role is responsible for ensuring operational plans and performance targets are met while guaranteeing that customer needs are fulfilled in terms of product quality and quantity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and forecasts.

• Source and plan for the availability of raw materials.

• Manage the plant's human resources, including deployment, supervision, and staff development.

• Ensure efficiency in all plant operations.

• Work with farmers, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure raw material availability.

• Produce high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

• Ensure plant machinery and equipment are well maintained and functioning properly.

• Oversee cost management in production without compromising quality or quantity.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements

Essential:

• University degree in B. Sc. Food Science and Technology.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience in a beverage processing plant.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven managerial experience in a busy organization.

• Proficient in Internet and email usage.

• Well-organized, honest, and demonstrates high integrity.

• Creative thinker with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

• Team player with a professional demeanor.

Desirable:

• Diploma in Management or Administration.

• Marketing and customer service skills.

• Strong coordinating and planning skills.

• Ability to identify training needs and motivate staff.
