Assistant Production Manager

 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production Manager in planning and implementing weekly production schedules.
• Supervise production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor production processes and uphold product quality standards.
• Support the creation and maintenance of production cycle times and SOPs.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols on the production floor.
• Help coordinate training for new production staff on processes and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production efficiency and yield.
• Ensure packaging materials are properly labeled and traceable.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within production areas.
• Provide support in staff allocation across production lines and shifts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A diploma or degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems will be an added advantage.
