We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Planning Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency of supply chain operations and contributing to the success of our product delivery processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast product demand accurately.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business goals to create demand plans.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts based on changes in market conditions or company priorities.
  • Develop and manage supply plans to ensure inventory availability and minimize shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to meet product requirements and timelines.
  • Optimize resource allocation and production schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning and forecasting processes.
  • Implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve overall operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on planning metrics and performance to management.
  • Address and resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions proactively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, ERP systems, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards is an added advantage.
